These are the functions we offer

The Radermacher & Partner GmbH management consultancy traditionally has a lean organization. Nevertheless, in certain situations, function designations are beneficial for us both internally and externally. We distinguish between five basic functions in the execution of consulting assignments:

  • Junior Consultant
  • Consultant
  • Senior consultant
  • (Senior) Project Manager
  • Partner/ Principal

We will offer you the position that you are willing and able to take on depending on your academic and professional experience, your strengths, your preferences and your proven performance. Further descriptions and differentiations can be found in our job offers, detailed questions should be clarified in a personal interview.

How quickly you take on which of the possible functions will largely depend on your qualifications and your commitment. From the very beginning, you will have the opportunity to take on significant responsibility in customer assignments. In any case, we will put an experienced mentor at your side who will assume co-responsibility for your successful integration into our team.

As Junior Consultant at Radermacher & Partner you lay a solid foundation for your career. Supported by your mentor, you will participate in sub-projects and selected phases of our consulting projects and gradually assume more responsibility.

Young professionals with first professional experience join Radermacher & Partner as consultants. As a consultant, you will be involved in all phases of our consulting projects and will already be responsible for individual project modules.

Even as a Senior Consultant, you will go through a comprehensive internal personal development programme at Radermacher & Partner. A Senior Consultant’s duties cover the entire range of tasks carried out by a consultancy, from involvement in acquisition right up to taking on essential internal duties with a high degree of responsibility.

Radermacher & Partner have two different project management roles: Project Manager and Senior Project Manager.

The role of Senior Project Manager at Radermacher & Partner requires you have at least 10 years’ experience in managing major consulting projects. Those who after a number of years as Senior Project Manager do not have the ambition to assume the entrepreneurial role of Partner, can continue to take on the challenges of responsibility for large consulting projects with us.

  • Successive P&L responsibility (optional)
  • Business development in the respective area (production, quality...)
  • Managing large consulting projects
  • Managing / steering several projects simultaneously
  • Managing internal and, if applicable, external (specialist) employees 
Your profile
  • Excellent academic qualifications corresponding to our company’s range of services
    (e.g. engineering, computer science, physics, chemistry, business administration, economics)
  • Multidisciplinary, sector-specific specialist knowledge with marketing potential
  • At least 10 years’ professional experience, approx. seven of which in consulting
  • Written and spoken language proficiency (German/ English)
  • Unreservedly fit and willing to travel

Before entering into actual partnership in our company, a considerable period is normally required to be spent as a Principal carrying out the same duties and holding the same responsibilities as required of a Partner. A new Partner can only be integrated upon approval by all current Partners.

How to convince us

For our challenging and diverse consulting mandates, we are constantly looking for graduates and professionals with strong professional, methodical and social skills. Consulting experience is a plus, but not a prerequisite for starting as a consultant or junior consultant. Much more important to us is that you think and act like an entrepreneur, play best in a team and pursue the highest quality standards in your work.

Due to our company history and our consulting focus in technology-intensive business areas, we are strongly influenced by engineering and natural sciences. Nevertheless, we appreciate and encourage a colorful mix of professional perspectives. Whether you are a graduate in economics, social sciences, computer science, natural sciences or engineering, you will be equally able to convince us.

The corporate language of most of our clients is German. Knowledge of German at mother-tongue level is therefore indispensable for our consultants, as is a very good command of English. Experience abroad and additional foreign language skills are an advantage, but not a must.
