KHS is an international manufacturer of bottling and packaging machines for the beverages, food and non-food industries. In addition to its production facilities in Germany, KHS has plants in the USA, Mexico, Brazil, India and China. Radermacher & Partner consultants supported KHS in the post-merger integration process to stabilise the plants in Mexico and Brazil with a specific change management programme. This included technological integration of companies acquired by KHS, relocation of manufacturing and rebalancing of know-how and manufacturing volumes between the international locations as well as technology transfer from the individual units to the rest of the company.
DB Regio AG
The railway subsidiary DB Regio AG is responsible for the DB Group's regional traffic throughout Germany and operates its own workshops for the maintenance of the vehicle fleet. Radermacher & Partner was engaged to optimize the processes at a DB Regio workshop site in order to meet scarce vehicle resources and increasing quality requirements. Based on a value stream analysis, the consultants together with the operative employees on site identified fields of action and measures to improve the processes and efficiency of the maintenance employees and established a continuous improvement process (CIP). The decisive success factor here was comprehensive accompanying change measures. Through workshops for the joint establishment of CIP moderated by the consultants and a team-building programme tailored to the employees, it was possible to improve cooperation at the plant, rebuild a powerful team and sustainably anchor process optimization.
Magna International Inc.
Magna is a leading global supplier to the automotive industry, with over 300 production sites and is considered to be the world’s most highly diversified automotive supplier. Magna develops, designs and manufactures systems, components, modules, parts and entire vehicles. Radermacher & Partner supported the Magna Group in its expansion course – from the search for to the approach to and integration of the companies acquired. The focus of Radermacher & Partner’s activities was in Europe, Spain, France, Holland, Belgium and Germany. Our consultants supported Magna in the post-merger integration programme. The different cultures had to be addressed with targeted intercultural measures and Magna’s specific management practices had to be transferred step-by-step to the companies it had taken over.

Deutsche Bahn AG is Europe’s biggest rail transport and infrastructure company. The group’s production assets encompass all the disciplines of engineering, with traction vehicles, locomotives, carriages, vehicle components, control and safety systems, railway buildings, escalators, lifts, passenger information systems, telecommunications, information technology, bridges and tunnels. Radermacher & Partner was commissioned to support Deutsche Bahn in developing a concept and organisational structure for the executive board function Technology for the entire group. The core mission of the Radermacher & Partner consultants included developing a group-wide production assets strategy and from that deriving strategic objectives to improve performance, capacity, availability, productivity and quality. The implementation phase was accompanied by a group-wide change management process focusing on technology, quality and the environment.

In Germany, for example, it has internationally important development and sales centres. During the restructuring of HP’s organisation, Radermacher & Partner consultants delivered an extensive change management programme to accompany HP’s activities for the entire duration of the transition to the new organisation.

The group has gradually developed from being purely a tyre manufacturer to becoming one of the world’s biggest suppliers with a wide range of automotive electronics. Today, the group’s automotive solutions for cars, trucks, buses, motorcycles and bicyles range from tyres to chassis & safety, to interiors and even powertrain. In addition to intelligent products, Continental aspires to have satisfied employees and satisfied customers. This is the basis for their efforts to ensure the sustainability of their organisation. Radermacher & Partner supported Continental in conducting employee and customer satisfaction analyses worldwide. The overall results allowed correlations to be identified, analyses to be performed on the connection between satisfied employees and satisfied customers and corporate programmes to be developed from these findings.
Hirschmann Car Communication GmbH
Hirschmann Car Communication GmbH is a supplier of transmission and reception systems for automobile communication and TV tuners in vehicles. As part of a multi-year business excellence programme, Radermacher & Partner repeatedly examined customer satisfaction in business-to business (B2B) relationships worldwide through face-to-face interviews on site and supported Hirschmann in defining its corporate programme as well as developing improvement measures for products and processes on the basis of the findings.
