December 1987
Founding of Radermacher & Partner
The company was established in 1987 as Dr. Radermacher & Partner Techno Consult GmbH by mechanical engineer Dr.-Ing. Karlheinz Radermacher at the age of 56. Apart from holding numerous executive board and organ functions, for instance with Pierburg, Rheinmetall, SKF and Siemens, Dr Radermacher was the executive board member responsible for R&D with BMW for ten years from 1973 to 1983.

The "Golden Steering Wheel" is an annual award for automotive innovations and is still awarded today by BILD am Sonntag in cooperation with Auto Bild.

The 90s
Expansion and diversification
In the expansion phase, experienced consultants with extensive consultancy backgrounds from Arthur D. Little, AT Kearney, BCG, McKinsey and Roland Berger were recruited. Step by step, experienced engineers, natural scientists and economists from technology-intensive business fields enhanced the team in the Munich office.
At the beginning of the 1990s the sister company Radermacher & Partner Berlin GmbH was founded with a focus on facility and process management. At the end of the 90s, after several years of successful development, Radermacher & Partner Berlin GmbH was taken over by the software and consulting firm IDS Scheer AG. Pictured on the right is the then Chairman of the Supervisory Board of IDS Scheer AG, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. August-Wilhelm Scheer.

The new millennium
Focus & specialisation
The experienced electrical and electronics engineer and long-standing partner Dr.-Ing. Hans-Josef Mayer (pictured) acquired a majority stake in Radermacher & Partner GmbH in 2007 and realigned the company more closely towards its original focus of technology management and product and process innovations.
At the same time Dr.-Ing. Karlheinz Radermacher retired from the company, sold his shares to those in charge and resigned his seat as Chairman of the Advisory Board of Radermacher & Partner GmbH.

30 Years of Radermacher & Partner GmbH
On 16 December 2017, Radermacher & Partner GmbH celebrated its 30th anniversary. Just in time for the anniversary, the consultants moved into their new, state-of-the-art premises and turned them into a smart office with an agile usage concept.
In 2015, the Munich-based architects Goetz Castorph und Stadtplaner GmbH, led by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Matthias Castorph, won an architectural award in a concept and realisation-based competition for the ensemble on account of their special harmonious urban integration of building and green space into the overall plot including the directly neighbouring Georgenbach river.
An ideal retreat for strategic deliberations, also popular among our clients as a location for a think tank.
